Once again Lakisha Johnson has had me sitting on the edge of my seat these past three days. The friendship of these six ladies reminds me of the friendships I have with my BFFs. Their bond is one that only gets stronger when they realize that going back to God is necessary at this point in their lives. It’s amazing how I was able to relate to Chloe and her situation. If you’re feeling down in your spirit, then this series is just for you. Thanks again Ms. Johnson for another set of awesome reads.
This is my first time reading anything by Lakisha Johnson and I must say,, this book is GOOD! Jayme’s struggle with her past/present seemed so real. I couldn’t put the book down and finished it in about two amd a half hours. I can’t wait to read more of her work.
If you haven’t read this book by Zuri Day I suggest you do. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat anticipating the bext scene. The main characters Ransom and Gwen take you on a whirlwind romance that will remind you of the first time you fell in love. Kudos to Zuri Day for a job well done.
I’m 97% through this book and think you might like it – “The Rancher Returns: A Passionate Enemies-to-Lovers Western Romance (The Westmoreland Legacy Book 2473)” by Brenda Jackson.
OMG!!! There is nothing wrong with falling in love, but to love someone to death is another story. Shantina Wilson has caused me to look at life in a different way. Her story line was filled with plot after crazy plot of craziness. However, I loved the book so much that i purchased part 2. All I can say is you really need to read it, especially if you have a friend who acts like she/he just has to have someone as their mate. Be careful who you go to for love. Sometimes what you ask for is not always what you get.
